32 bit vista 64 bit cpu

HI, is it possible to install and use the 32-bit version of VISTA on a machine with 64 bit CPU(linke Athlon 64/Sempron)?

And I'm running mine on a 3700 san diego AMD 64-bit CPU. Works like a charm.
